About Us

Our core belief

Everything we do at Eight Five starts with a simple belief: every business should have numbers that are accurate, available, and actionable.

Mitch Froemming, founder of Eight Five Bookkeeping

Our story

Eight Five Bookkeeping was founded in 2017 by Mitch Froemming, who started his career at a CPA firm before realizing he was most drawn to the day-to-day operations of small businesses and the people behind them.

Since then, we’ve worked with hundreds of businesses, giving us a firsthand look at what business owners need as they grow: reliable systems, accurate numbers, and financial insight they can actually use.

Today, we keep our client roster intentionally small so we can provide the consistency, responsiveness, and attention that good bookkeeping requires. Our goal is to help owners build the financial systems they need to scale and give them the insight to make better decisions along the way.
